Corroded Underground Wiring Replaced to Restore Parking Lot Bollard Lights

Outdoor lighting fails quietly. One day everything works fine, and the next you've got dark walkways and parking areas that are a liability waiting to happen. Most of the time, the fixture itself isn't the problem - it's what's buried underneath.

That's exactly what we found here. The underground wiring had corroded to the point where the bollard lights along this walkway and parking area just weren't functioning reliably anymore. Corroded wiring underground is more common than people think, especially in areas where moisture gets into old conduit. It's not a fix you can put off - bad wiring underground is a safety issue, plain and simple.

We pulled the old run, trenched in new PVC conduit, and ran fresh wiring the full length of the affected area. You can see the scope of the trench - this wasn't a small patch job. We did it right, which means the repair is built to last and protected the way it should be. Every bollard light along that run came back on and stayed on.

This is the kind of work that doesn't always look flashy, but it matters. Safe, consistent lighting along walkways and parking lots protects people. It also protects property owners from the headache that comes when someone gets hurt in a dark area that should have been lit.
