Small electrical problems have a way of snowballing. A dead outlet here, a light that won't work there - and before you know it you're either living around the issue or dealing with something much worse. That's exactly the kind of situation we walked into on this one.

We handled a few things here. A new LED flush-mount light got installed in the main space, which now throws clean, even light across the whole room. But the bigger part of the job was what was happening behind the walls. The outlet wiring needed to be corrected, and we ran new wire to bring the circuit up properly so everything is powered safely and reliably.

We also installed a new GFCI outlet - the kind with the test and reset buttons built in. You'll see that paired with a new light switch nearby. GFCI protection is required in areas near water, and it's one of those things that's easy to overlook until something goes wrong. Getting it in the right place with a clean installation matters.

The new outlet installed along the baseboard wall is a good example of doing things the right way from the start. Tight fit, proper wiring, clean cover plate. No shortcuts. Whether it's a light switch installation or running a new circuit, the details are what separate a safe finished job from one that causes problems down the road.

Ignoring small electrical issues isn't really a neutral choice - it's a slow risk that builds over time. If something in your home isn't working like it should, it's worth getting it looked at before it turns into something bigger.
