Pool electrical is one of those things you really can't ignore. Corroded wiring and worn-out controls around water aren't just an inconvenience - they're a genuine safety risk. This job had a few things going wrong at once, and we took care of all of it in one visit.

We replaced the damaged wiring, swapped in a new Intermatic time clock, and updated both the GFI and the switch for the pool light. The Intermatic is a workhorse of a time clock - it's been the go-to for pool equipment scheduling for decades, and for good reason. Reliable, straightforward, and built to handle outdoor conditions.

The new weatherproof control box with the fresh GFI outlet and light switch is a big upgrade from what was there before. Everything is properly protected, clearly accessible, and set up the way it should have been from the start. No guessing, no workarounds.

Outdoor and pool electrical tends to get overlooked until something stops working - or worse, until it becomes a hazard. Water and electricity demand a higher standard of care, and that means using the right components and doing the work correctly the first time. That's exactly what we focused on here.

If your pool equipment controls are aging, your GFI is outdated, or you've noticed any signs of wear or corrosion in your outdoor wiring, it's worth getting it looked at by a licensed electrician before it becomes a bigger problem.
